Storyboard. Planning the full short through three storyboard pages, mapping out the scenes, character actions, and sequence of events. Click on each image to see it bigger.

Asset Creation. Creating the background scenes used throughout The Holidays, including this Fourth of July scene.

Primary Sequence. The scene begins with a light turning on, followed by the calendar approaching the viewer, the ball jumping from the calendar, the calendar flipping upward and the ball makes a large bounce and exits the screen.

Secondary Sequence. Continuing into the first holiday scene of The Holidays, beginning with New Year's Eve.

Critique & Revision. Reviewing the animation and making improvements based on feedback. Originally, I had a couple of small white balls representing snow that were falling slowly. My teacher did not like that, so I updated the scene to what you see here.
